anyway, they wanted old once-ler and young once-ler back to back. i decided to add a bit more and make it seem like a progression of sorts. idk, i sketched this in my tiny-ass drawing book sooooo mistakes galore ><

I like how young Once-ler has his guitar on his shoulder, and is observing the truffula tree. I like how Greed-ler stands before a white foreground, because the trees are vanishing but he still holds his truffula flower proudly in his hands. Then the last one of Old Once-ler who appears to be becoming a part of the grass itself, the Lorax pressing his hand against his friend to give him support and the pink truffula tree saplings beginning to grow back. It’s just so god damn beautiful.
Allow me a moment to shed a tear because this picture gets to me on so many levels.
